3. Data collection on our website


This website is using session cookies only, which are necessary for technical reasons. They will be deleted after you close your browser. None of them will be used for tracking your user behavior.

Web Hosting

To deliver the pages to your web browser, a hosting company is used. In order to do that, your IP address needs to be processed. According to Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, this is allowed in order to fulfill the contract with you (here: delivering information that you requested by accessing the website).

The hosting company stores all ip addresses for 7 days according to their legitimate interest Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR to protect their servers from hacking attacks.

Server log files

The website provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically transmits to us in “server log files”. These are:

  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address (anonymized by deleting the 2 last octetts)

These data will not be combined with data from other sources.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, because the website operator has a legitimate interest in using this data to analyze connection problems and to check for hacking attacks.

Contact form

This website do not use a contact form, but you can contact us via eMail. To find our eMail addess, please check the legal notice page. If you choose to send us an eMail, your personal data (like eMail, Name and other information that you provide in your eMail) will be stored on our computers. This happens in order to enable us to respond to your message and/or question. We will not share your data with anybody else unless you allow us to do so. This is done according to Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR to fullfill our contract – here: answering your eMail.

We will keep your data until you either request us to delete them or until there is no need to store them any longer (for example, if all questions are answered and you don’t want us to contact you again). In some cases, your data needs to be stored for a certain lenght of time, if the law requires it (for example: business eMails must be kept by IRS rules for 10 years).
